History of the Old Vicarage
Built in the 1800's from the proceeds of the local lead mine, The Old Vicarage has played many roles in the village of Westgate, starting as a country manor house used as an ecclesiastical building. It was built to with stand time. Over the years it became a family home and was lovingly restored by it's current owner. St. Andrews' church can still be seen across the paddock as you meander through the grand wrought iron gates to approach the house, adding a touch of historic charm to the already beautiful scenery.  With it's large back garden as well as the adjoining paddock, there's no shortage of space outside this rural gem.

Words could never do justice to this place, as it is definitely a one of a kind home packed full of character and charm, and the only limits on what you can do with the house itself are the limits of your own imagination and vision.  This is one property where seeing really is the only way to believe, as the potential for earning is limitless...B&B, Visitor centre, tea rooms, Private girls school, retired persons home etc..

Property Summary
The lower level of this massive house is sure to please, comprising of a formal lounge, a sitting room, a study, dining room, kitchen, and lower level toilet, as well as several closets and cupboards which due to their size could be considered rooms by their own right.

The Old Vicarage has 6 generously sized bedrooms upstairs with high ceilings  and  large windows in each room. The main  bathroom , which adjoins the hallway and has a separate door off the master bedroom, and good sized cupboard / airing closet, not only generous in size but also keeps the feeling of home. There is also a shower room and end toilet room upstairs. To those who feel they need to add to the dimensions in this home, there is a full height attic which is the same size as the level below it.
