Is Dream Country Homes an estate agent?
No we are NOT an estate agent. We provide an online market place for people to buy and sell rural property.  If you advertise a property on our site then prospective buyers must contact you directly.  In addition we do NOT provide sale boards, arrange viewings or provide valuations in accordance with UK legislation.


I am experiencing technical problems with your booking form.  Can you help?
If you are experiencing any problems then please accept our sincere apologies.  Just drop us an email outlining the issue and a member of our team will be in touch asap.  You are welcome to email us the details and photos of the property that you wish to advertise.  Please email us at:

How do you manage to provide this excellent service for free?
We get asked this a lot!  We feel it is important to provide this service for free while the site grows but in the far off,  distant future we do anticipate introducing low fees for advertising. 

I am not sure if my property qualifies as being in a rural area.  What shall I do?
We market our properties to people who looking for property in the countryside so we need to be very careful that we do not waste their time by including urban properties on our site.  But we understand that some areas could be classed as semi-rural.  The easiest way is just to email us with your property's address and postcode and we'll make a quick decision. 


Do you accept advertisements by estate agents?
Yes.  If you want to submit one or two properties then please use our form.  Alternatively if you wish to submit multiple properties then please email us and we can discuss the easiest way of submitting all the information.  Please note that all advertisers are bound by our Terms & Conditions.

Can I add photographs to my advertisement?
Yes you can add as many as you like.   We recommend including interior and exterior shots.  You can email them, upload them with the form or post them to us.   If you use the form we recommend that you ensure the images are all low resolution (under 500MB).  If you are unsure don't worry - just email them over to us after completing the form.   If you prefer to post them please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any photos that are lost or damaged.  However we will aim to return them to you if you include a suitably stamped addressed envelope.  Please check the postage required with your local Post Office as the postage costs depend on the size of the envelope.  Our address is on the Contact page.


Can I add a downloadable brochure or video?
Yes.  The best way is to submit as much basic information as you can using our form.  Once you receive confirmation that your advert has been accepted please email us with the brochure or video. 

Can I have a link to a Google Map?
Ideally we would like all the properties advertised with us to have a link on Google Maps.  However Google Maps is often not accurate especially as we are usually relying upon postcode areas which can cover many properties.  If we feel that Google Maps would confuse potential buyers then we may not include it.   We can discuss this with you to work out a solution.


I would like to arrange a viewing what do I need to do?
Each property has its own webpage with the contact details of the seller.  You need to contact the seller directly.  We cannot pass on your details to the seller.

How quickly will my advertisement appear?
All advertisements need to be carefully checked before publication.  We endeavour to design the advertisements within 24 hours (Mon-Fri).  You will be notified as soon as the advert is ready for approval.  The general public will not see your advert until you approve it.  There is plenty of opportunity to make changes - we really don't mind as its important to us that you are happy with your advert and that it is 100% accurate.  Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies.


For how long will my advertisement appear?
If you are selling a property then our advertisement will appear until the property is sold or you ask us to remove it. If you are renting then the advert will appear for 12 months and you will have the chance to renew it at that point.

Do you provide sales boards?
No we are not registered as an estate agent so we are unable to provide sales boards under UK law.


Can I make any changes to my advert?
Yes.  Once your advert has been accepted we will contact you to gain your approval of the final advert.  After it is published you are welcome to make further changes or add photos if necessary.   Please email your changes to us at:
